March 8, 2009 - Realisation
I realise now that I should have had several posts and not one long one, and most importantly to name each post.
My whole blog is a bit of a mess but I hope to get there eventually.
As I use MSWord most of the time, I thought it would be easier to type my blog in Word then copy and paste.
Unfortunately it does not work as I had hoped. I also wanted to have a copy as a backup, just in case I were to lose my blog. I guess this is not necessary.
I also tried to be more creative and less booring, as advised by my tutor, Peter. I ended up renaming the blog from 'ReneeLearningLog' to 'ReneeLearningLots' and in the process copied the wrong one on the discussion board. Guess what? Peter could not access it !>$#@!^

I have changed the image in my profile. The previous one that I uploaded, was borrowed from the web, quite a long time ago. This was plagiarism and I guess not at all acceptable.

My very first BLog - What an ordearl
March 5, 2009 - Use Blogger Text editor not Microsoft Word
What an ordeal. I thought that I would never get there. I am retyping my whole Word document that I have at last printed.
I have given up trying to find out where the problem was. I could not publish my Blog and the error popped up on my screen, bright yellow and red, each time I tried.
Compose using Blog that all.

I added my profile to my blog. My original blog was very serious and very boring. After having browsed through all the blogs on the discussion board, I panicked. After having pondered my predicament, I decided a change of attitude to enjoy and have fun with my new discoveries.
I am still overwhelmed with all the information. OpenID, RSS etc...still don't know what it is all about.
What to do next?
I decided to attack the Module ! - Telnet task A

- I typed my Blog using a Word7 document, which I thought would be a sort of a backup, if I were to lose it in Blogger.
- I then tried to save my document in Word 97-2003, that did not work & the red and yellow banner appeared again on the top of my screen
- I saved my document in Plain Text
- I saved in Rich Text Format
